Nola is a certified paralegal who moved to Tucson from her home state of Kentucky. She has been involved in the law field since 1990. She began her career as a transcriber and proofreader for a court reporter. Early on she met then public defender, now Court of Appeals Judge, Kelly Thompson and has been in the legal field ever since.
Nola attended Bowling Green Junior College and Western Kentucky University pursuing a degree in English. She has also attended Pima Community College in pursuit of a sign language interpreter certification.
When not working, Nola enjoys attending her daughter’s varsity volleyball & basketball games and track meets. She also loves going to concerts with her husband, and is a die-hard Wildcat fan – Kentucky Wildcats, that is!
